Will Solomon is a contemporary-folk artist from Kentucky based in Seattle, Washington. His burgeoning career has taken him to #9 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart and into the studio with a Grammy-winning team (Casey Warner & Jacquire King) to record his 2021 EP, Misspelled Words. He has toured the country opening for artists including Johnnyswim, Holly Williams, and Thad Cockrell. Will creates an emotive sound inspired by the folk songs of his hand-me-down records,  pop hooks of his 80s childhood and colorful chords from collegiate jazz studies in Appalachia. His lyricism reflects the formative years of his artistry spent playing writers' rounds in country music's Nashville, embellished by turn of phrase and poetic metaphor. 

"& Friends" is Will's new folk/bluegrass trio made up of Oregonian instrumentalists Simon Chrisman (hammer dulcimer/bgvs) and Jenika Smith (upright bass/bgvs). Simon is also member of "Sean Watkins & the Bee Eaters" and partner in his hammer dulcimer/banjo duo, "Simon Chrisman & Wes Corbett". Jenika Smith is also a member of folk band King Roy Wing. The band recently released their debut EP "Will Solomon & Friends - The La Baguette Sessions" in April of 2023.
